Get back to the basics! For centuries, proteins and nutrients came from plant-based foods; this delicious blend of ancient grains is proof! Millet is high in protien, iron, magnesium, B-6, calcium, and potassium. Quinoa and amaranth are complete proteins, each containing the 9 essential amino acids. As broadleaf plants, quinoa and amaranth are technically "psuedograins", while millet is a grass seed, making it a true grain.

Sprouting is as easy as 1-2-3! Simply soak your Ancient Grains Mix seeds in water for 8 to 12 hours, place in your sprouting container in a warm area (70°F), and rinse at least twice daily until seeds have just begun to sprout in about 1-4 days, indicating they are ready to harvest. Rinse well to reduce saponins in the quinoa, improving flavor. See inside the packet for more information about growing and harvesting sprouts.

Sprout Seed Safety: A sample from each seed lot we receive is sent to an independent laboratory where it must test negative for foodborne pathogens including Escherichia coli (E. coli), Salmonella, Listeria, and Staphylococcus aureus (Staph).
